WHEN
TO ORDER
The ideal time to plant trees occurs in the months of April and May. Orders are
processed on a first come first served basis. Order early. ForestCare is
now reserving stock for the 2007 season. Please contact info@forestcare.com for
current availability.
ORDER
CANCELLATIONS
Orders cancelled before February 28, 2007 will be reimbursed
with the exception of the $12.00 administration charge.
No refund will be granted on orders cancelled after February
28th.
SHIPPING
TERMS
Nursery stock is shipped via Express Post. Express Postage
costs are the responsibility of the purchaser and are automatically
calculated on the Online Order Form. Customers are asked
to provide a preferred delivery date when completing the
Order Form. ForestCare will endeavor to accommodate the
preferred delivery date but will reserve the right to change
the date depending on shipping demand. ForestCare will provide
advance notice of the shipping date.
Orders may also be picked up at the St Williams Forestry Centre. Please call
519-586-9116 to arrange a pickup date.
RECEIVING
Nursery stock is perishable! All shipments must be unpacked
and inspected immediately upon receipt and then placed in
a cool, dry environment until planting. Any problems with
the condition of the stock or stock quantities must be reported
to Forest Care within 10 days of receipt of the shipment.
Forest
Care guarantees that all stock is correctly labeled as to
species. Forest Care is unable to guarantee the survival
rate of nursery stock since their are many factors governing
survival that are beyond the control of the company.
Claims
for losses while goods are in transit are not the responsibility
of Forest Care and must be filed directly with Canada Post.
Claims
for any cause must be in writing and must be received by
Forest Care within 10 days of the receipt of your shipment.
If the purchaser does not provide such notice, the purchaser
has agreed to accept the stock unconditionally. In no case
will Forest Care be liable for an amount that exceeds the
price invoiced or the price paid by the purchaser.

information is provided by species. Price discounts related
to quantities ordered apply based on the total seedlings
ordered. Our prices are quoted in Canadian dollars and are
subject to change without notice. Full payment must accompany
your order.

TAXES,
DUTIES & EXPORT CERTIFICATES
Residents
of Ontario are required to pay Retail Sales Tax on all orders.
Commercial Growers must provide a signed Purchase Exemption
Certificate that clearly indicates their Vendor's Permit
Number in order to receive an exemption.
Nursery
stock purchased exclusively for farming operations will
receive an exemption upon completion of the "Retail
Sales Tax Exemption Certificate included on the Order Form.
All other taxes and duties are the responsibility of the
purchaser.
Forest
Care will make the necessary arrangements to obtain a Phytosanitary
Certificate (PC) for nursery stock purchased by U.S. customers.
The purchaser will be responsible for the cost of this certificate.
Forest
Care will not accept responsibility or liability for any
errors or omissions that may arise from the stock inspection
or preparation of the certificate.
